Senior Art & Design Sourcer

Job Description

We are searching for a Sourcer with a proven history successfully closing art and design based positions to join our growing team at Virtex! You would be partnering with our hiring leads to define our sourcing strategy, identify market trends and come up with creative solutions for finding the best talent.

We are a growing studio, so this requires plenty of hands-on work creating, iterating, and developing new ideas. We’d love to find someone who loves working creative roles and can own this area of expertise whilst helping to shape the sourcing function alongside our Senior Recruiter and HR Manager as we continue to grow.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

Partner with internal hiring teams to develop Virtex’s sourcing strategy for a range of art and design positions.
Understanding of our standard portfolio requirements, general requirements and working towards becoming an expert on our internal art direction.
Creatively source roles outside of common major platforms such as Linkedin, Artstation or 80 LVL and qualify candidates for roles of varying in seniority.
Build continuous talent pipelines and maintain a network of potential prospects through sourcing campaigns, relationship building and market research.
Identify and attend industry events key to art and design prospecting or to assist the wider recruitment function.

Ideal experience:

3+ years experience sourcing art and/ or design positions within the gaming industry (ideally AAA).
Experience developing sourcing campaigns and revisiting strategic methods regularly.
Demonstrated ability to identify, attract and qualify creative talent for open or upcoming roles.
Experience with a range of sourcing methods for hard-to-fill positions.
Ability to work against KPI’s and provide valuable market data to leadership.

It would be extra awesome if you have:

A passion for esports would be a considerable advantage in this role.
Art Degree/ Interior Design background.
Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse or similar.
Previous experience sourcing for global or VR-based roles.
Lead or mentorship interest.

As big fans of esports, we began to envision virtual stadiums and a 3D viewing experience a long time ago! With the Virtex Stadium application launching on PC and VR in 2021, we want to make that dream a reality by allowing esports fans to view gameplay live in 3D, in the centre of a virtual stadium. Partnering with the wider esports ecosystem (incl. publishers, leagues, teams), we are working towards building the virtual home of esports.
